Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OuO Pet (“the App”) handles information. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean NitiPlay LLC, the App publisher founded by Ismail Lahniti (Morocco).

1. Who we are and what the App is

OuO Pet is an entertainment companion: an ink-drawn face that reacts to touch, tilt, and idle time. It is not a medical, mental-health, emergency, or childcare service.

We do not operate user accounts. There is no sign-in and no cloud profile hosted by us.

2. Summary (plain language)

• Play progress, looks, journal items, and settings stay on your device.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• The App shows ads from Google AdMob. Advertising partners may collect device identifiers and usage data for ads, measurement, and fraud prevention, subject to your choices (including App Tracking Transparency on iOS and GDPR consent where required).
• Motion, notifications, and the Home Screen widget are optional and processed on-device.
• Deleting the App removes local App data from that device.

3. Information we do not collect ourselves

• No account, email sign-up, or social login inside the App.
• No payment-card details (the App is free; Apple would process any future App Store payments).
• No precise GPS / Precise Location permission.
• No contacts, camera, microphone, HealthKit, or HomeKit data.
• We do not sell personal information to data brokers.

4. Information stored on your device

The App stores the following locally (for example via iOS UserDefaults / SharedPreferences), not on NitiPlay servers:

• Settings you choose (language, sounds, volume, mood options, looks, reminders on/off, keep-screen-on)
• Play state (mood values, Discovery Journal items, onboarding progress)
• Optional cute-hour timer end time

This information stays on your device unless you back up the device with Apple (iCloud / computer backup). Uninstalling the App removes this local App storage on that device.

5. Information that may leave your device

5.1 Motion / accelerometer

Used on-device so OuO can wink when you tilt the phone or react to a shake. You can turn tilt-winking off in Settings. This motion data is not stored or transmitted to us.

5.2 Local notifications (optional)

If you turn on the daily reminder, the device schedules a local 7:00 p.m. notification. Notifications are optional. We do not send promotional push from our servers.

5.3 Home Screen widget (optional)

A picture of OuO can be shown on your Home Screen. That image stays on the device.

5.4 Support email

If you email us, we receive the address and content you send so we can reply. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request.

5.5 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded ads. Google and its partners may process identifiers such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) when you allow tracking, the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), IP address, device/app info, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud.

• Apple data types that may apply: Device ID, Advertising Data, Product Interaction, Usage Data
• Purposes: Third-Party Advertising, Developer’s Advertising or Marketing, Analytics, App Functionality
• Linked to identity / used for tracking: may be “Yes” for advertising partners when you grant ATT / consent

On iOS we request tracking permission via App Tracking Transparency when required. In the EEA/UK and other regions where required, we show a consent form via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Authorized sellers for ads are listed in our app-ads.txt file at the NitiPlay website root.

6. Tracking, advertising, and analytics

• AdMob may use advertising identifiers subject to ATT and UMP consent
• We do not operate a separate analytics SDK beyond what AdMob / Apple may provide
• We do not sell personal information

If you opt in to share diagnostics with Apple through iOS Settings, Apple may provide crash or performance data according to your Apple privacy settings.

7. How we use information

• Operate the App (remember play state, looks, journal, and preferences)
• Show ads and measure ad performance via Google AdMob
• Respond to support emails you send us
• Comply with law and App Store rules

8. Sharing

We share information only with:

• Google AdMob and advertising partners (for ads, as described above)
• Apple or Google for App Store / Play distribution and OS permissions
• Website hosts for these legal pages (for example Vercel)
• You, when you intentionally share via the system share sheet

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share data with data brokers.

9. Retention

On-device data remains until you change it or uninstall the App. Support emails are kept only as long as needed. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.

10. Children’s privacy

OuO Pet is a general-audience entertainment app. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not submitted in the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a minor shared personal information by email should contact us; we will delete support emails we hold.

11. Your choices and rights

• Preferences: Settings inside the App (sounds, reminder, tilt, keep-awake)
• Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Notifications: iOS Settings → OuO Pet → Notifications
• Uninstall: removes the App and its local storage on that device
• Support emails: email us to request deletion of messages you sent

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and certain US states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information we hold about you from support correspondence. Contact lhnitismail@gmail.com to exercise those rights. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

12. International processing

When ads are shown or you email support, data may be processed on servers outside your country (including by Google and our email provider). NitiPlay LLC is based in Morocco.

13. Security

We take reasonable steps appropriate for a local-first app (including HTTPS for these pages). No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where the law requires extra consent.
